The Great Tucson Gathering
Saturday February 13
I finally got off the hill today. After spending some more time agave hunting, we all went to Tucson to the International Art Center. We helped set up for the night's performance.
The RealAudio files were recorded raw, the mic was on top of a speaker so there will be a hum during the solos, The volume and length vary. The lighting experts seemed to prefer red.
The first band up was Eno & the Kuabudu
This would sound better with video.
The next group was Allen Shockley's band Mandala
Followed by Allen Smith who along with Dave Crowder & Karl
Sacksteder did this
rather long cut.
Then came the ever popular Didginus of Randy Graves.
Dave Crowder followed with a solo.
I'm sorry that when Karl Sacksteder did his solo that I was somewhere other than near my camera and laptop.
The scene rocked from around 7:30 until 2 AM.
